The last time RCB and KKR met at IPL 2024, Sunil Narine surprised one and all with his blitz at the top Since then, Narine (and KKR) has gone from strength to strength and has also registered his maiden T20 hundred. RCB, on the other hand, have won only one out of their seven games and will be desperate for a turnaround at the Eden Gardens today.
Punjab Kings have made matches out of games that seemed dead and buried this season, thanks largely to Shashank Singh and Ashutosh Sharma. Despite their best efforts, though, they only have four points to show from seven games and are languishing at ninth on the points table. Regular captain Shikhar Dhawan is not yet expected to be available for this game, which means Sam Curran will continue to lead and possibly continue to open the batting.
Gujarat Titans suffered a demoralising defeat in the last game at home, and would be itching to come back hard as well as get revenge for their close defeat against PBKS earlier in the tournament.
